A pair of or daishō (meaning long and short (sword)) tsuba, constructed of a well forged iron in oval shape (nademaru-gata) and decorated with three round fans with long handles (a type of fan called uchiwa in Japan) in sukashi-bori.

Sekigane to the lower part of the seppadai. In its stylisation and clear composition, the motif is reminiscent of coats of arms (mon).
